On September 11, 2001, we all watched the horrific event which would change the way we live, forever.
The Defend And Survive Program, Inc. was found for the very reason of realizing the changes of The American Children and how best to help them to stay aware and out of dangerous situations.
We as adults can either protect them by keeping them in arms reach or give them the knowledge to resist negative peer pressure, build self-discipline and confidence and inform the children of this new century, the many lures that may present a harmful or dangerous situation.
When children have self-discipline, they are more likely to achieve goals and build their confidence.
When a child walks with high self-esteem, they are less likely to become a target for a physical or emotional attack.
When a child knows when and how self-defense is to be used, they also are more apt to stop an attack if it should occur.
